How is KR 9.5 Tracking?

Our Carbon-Neutral Fuels key result aims to decarbonize industries that may never entirely electrify, such as aviation, long-haul trucking, and cargo shipping.

In fleets where batteries and hydrogen are impractical, the solution may lie in carbon-neutral fuels. They align with net zero by capturing and reusing as much carbon in production as is later burned for energy. The challenge is to find and scale drop-in replacement fuels that can compete on cost with today’s fossil fuel equivalent.
