We can track the transition to net zero by keeping tabs on health outcomes around the world. Our Health key result aims to end pollution–related mortality rates.

Health outcomes and mortality rates can be addressed through strong climate action. Our sector KRs—closing coal plants, switching cars and trucks to electric, electrifying stoves and heat within homes—address this challenge.

The goal is to eliminate greenhouse gas-related mortality rates by 2040.
